GTA V for PC delayed, coming in April

by on25 February 2015

Consoles get Online Heists next month

Bad news for all fans of blood, petrol and adrenaline – Rockstar has delayed the launch of Grand Theft Auto V for PC yet again.

Luckily it shouldn’t be too long now, as the company says GTA V for PC will launch on April 14, as an online download. To make up for the delays, Rockstar is giving everyone who pre-ordered the PC version a $200,000 bonus (that would be in-game cash, not real greenbacks – they’re not Goldman Sachs).

Speaking of money, some people may need an upgrade if they plan on getting GTA V for PC. The recommended system requirement suggests a Core i5-3470 or AMD FX-8350, 8GB of RAM, GTX 660 2GB or HD 7870 2GB graphics and a whopping 65GB of storage, which is bad news for anyone with a small SSD.

If you’re a console gamer, and hide that smug grin and watch out for Online Heists, which will bring a new 4-play cooperative mode to GTA Online. Now assemble your crew and rob the good people of Los Santos and Blaine County blind.

Mustafa from IT is very good with a shotgun, and Melissa from accounting is one hell of a getaway driver, or so we hear.
