Tiger might not be done just yet

Might Take-Two be teaming up with Tiger?

Sometimes one door has to close for another one to open. As it did when Electronic Arts slammed the door into Tiger Woods face when it came time to renew his contract. One of the most famous golfers in the world has excellent branding and rumors are spreading that Tiger could be close to a new video game deal.

Sources are suggesting that when Take-Two registered the domain Link2KGolf.com and 2KGolfLinks.com that it was only a matter of time before 2K would be bringing Links golfing back. With Tiger now available to help with the branding for a price, it could be great move to bring out a new golf franchise to take on EA.

According to ESPN, Tiger agent Mark Steinberg is working on cutting a deal for the Tiger video game branding rights. One thing we do know for sure is that if 2K is developing a new Links title it will be with a new studio. Original Links developer Salt Lake City Studio which was later renamed Indie Built was closed by Take-Two back in 2006.
