Although we have already seen the 870A Fuzion motherboard before, MSI has now officially launched it, which means that it should show up in retail/e-tail pretty soon. The new 870A Fuzion Power Edition is based on AMD's 870 and SB850 chipset and features Lucid's Hydra 200 chip for some Nvidia and AMD graphics card mixing.
The MSI 870A Fuzion Power features support for AM3 CPUs including the hexa-core Phenoms, has 12-phase power design, four DDR3-1600 memory slots and two PCI-Express x16 slots. Thanks to the Lucid's Hydra 200 chip, it is possible to mix both AMD and Nvidia card depending on your need.
The 870A Fuzion Power uses Military Class Components and features six SATA 6.0Gbps ports, two USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit LAN, integrated 7.1-channel audio, Firewire port and on-board power, reset and clear CMOS buttons.
As noted, the new 870A Fuzion Power should appear in retail/e-tail pretty soon as it is already available for pre-order with the lowest price set at €137,03.
