Gigabyte releases Skylake gaming notebooks

Gigabyte has released a gaming notebook range which is packed full of Skylake goodness.

The notebooks come with gaming GTX graphics and high end Intel 6th Gen Core i7 Processors as well as some interesting next generation features to take advantage of what Intel is peddling.

The gaming series includes M.2 PCIe SSD, latest DDR4 with faster frequency and a lower power demand, USB 3.1 with Type-C connectors for even more convenient I/O connectivity. There is also an upgraded HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 providing a 4K visual experience.

The 17" P37, 15" P35, and 14" P34 have "top-of-the-line graphics" ranging from GTX 980M/970M/965M.

The P37 and the P35 also features a hot-swappable ODD/HDD bay, adding flexibility and options for capacity storage. The Macro Keys and Macro Hub on the P37 allow for macro creation to turn complex actions and key combinations into the pressing of a single button.

In the performance notebook range, there is the 15" P55 and 17" P57. The design is inspired by the shape of sports car and under the bonnet is a "high-end" GTX 970M/965M graphics card. The dual-storage along with the optional Blu-ray Rewritable Drive can suit all entertainment purposes.

The 15" P15 and 17" P17 are the budget-friendly gaming range, It has GTX 950M gaming graphics and a swappable HDD/ODD bay.

Irritatingly there is no mention of price in this press release, nor any pictures so we will have to add some later.
