The 15-inch Macbook Pro Retina has been around for quite some time but many have been eyeing the popular 13-inch Macbook Pro and are eagerly awaiting the new Retina display to show up on this one as well. According to a rumor posted at 9to5Mac, the wait is finally over as Apple just might announce it alongside its iPad Mini tablet.

In case you missed it, the Retina screen brought an impressive 2880x1800 resolution to the 15-inch Macbook Pro. The 9to5Mac says that the info came from a reliable source at a high-profile US retailer and as it was the case with the 15-incher, the 13.1-inch Macbook Pro will also be available in two versions with different processor and storage option.

Apple will also continue to sell its non-Retina 13-inch MacBook Pro, and the new one should bring Ivy Bridge CPU to the quite popular 13.1-inch MacBook Pro.
