Missus does not like it

Top security
expert and director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, has been ordered by his missus not to use Internet banking.

It seems her-indoors knows more about what is safe on the world wide wibble and what is not – well at least more than Bob. It turns out that Mueller nearly fell for a fairly basic phishing scam and his wife didn't think he was grown up to do Internet banking any more. Speaking at the Commonwealth Club in California, Mueller said he was "just a few clicks away" from failing victim to the "classic" internet phishing scam.

He had received an email purportedly from his bank that asked him to verify his account details. He began answering the first few questions before suspecting something wasn't quite right. However Mueller made a bit of a mistake when he tried to lecture his missus on the terror's of internet banking and used the phishing incident as a “teachable moment."

She pointed out to him that it was not his teachable moment. However, it was her money as well as his he could not do any Internet banking any more.
