These gadgets are set to start winging their way to business types from the 9 April. They're made just for the companies so you won't find them in your average tech shop. The Surface Pro 10 for Business starts at about €1,199 and lets you pick from Core Ultra 5 135U or Core Ultra 7 165U, with up to 64GB of RAM and a 256GB Gen4 SSD. Plus, it's got a snazzier 13-inch screen that's easier on the eyes and a 1440p selfie cam with a wide 114-degree view.
The Surface Laptop 6 for Business also starts at a cool €1,199. Intel's Core Ultra H-series chips power it and can be purchased with up to 64GB of RAM and a massive 1TB Gen4 SSD. The 15-inch model has two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, and the 13.5-inch model has one. Both have this optional smart card reader and are a doddle to service.
Vole's been bigging up the Surface Laptop 6, saying it's double quick compared to the old Laptop 52, and the Surface Pro 10 is a whopping 53 per cent zippier than the Pro 9. With the NPU, you get cool AI features like Windows Studio Effects and Live Captions, plus it's a golden ticket for businesses and developers to create their own AI apps.
Over on the Vole blog, they're saying the Surface Pro 10 for Business is the bee's knees for teams who want a top-notch device without any fuss – though why you'd want a stroppy computer is beyond me.
"It's the beefiest Surface Pro we've ever made, thanks to those Intel Core Ultra processors. And it's a first for us bringing 5G to the Intel platform. Whether you're out on the frontlines with it as a tablet, flipping it into a laptop for a meeting, or something in between – the Surface Pro 10 is all about bending to what our customers need and how they use tech," says the blog.
With some help from Vole Copilot and the latest Windows 11 Pro, Vole claims that the Surface Pro 10 is all about getting stuff done smarter and faster. It has slapped the Copilot key on all the new Surface Pro keyboards, and there's even a version with big, bold keys that are a cinch to see and type on.
