Musk threatens to sue Anti-Defamation League for defamation

by on05 September 2023

"Free speech absolutist" wants to silence Jews for conducting anti-Semitism conspiracy

X boss Elon [look at me] Musk has waded into the Anti-Defamation League because his social notworking site can't attract as many advertisers as Twitter and is full of anti-Semitic bots.

Despite claiming to be a "free speech absolutist" Musk accused the ADL of trying to bring down X by “falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic.” Since the ADL was established in 1913, it has become a leader in exposing and fighting antisemitism around the world.

Musk tweeted: “the ADL, because they are so aggressive in their demands to ban social media accounts for even minor infractions, are ironically the biggest generators of anti-Semitism on this platform!”

Blaming Jewish people for anti-Semitism because they complain about  anti-Semitism a rather surprising logic.

“If this continues, we will have no choice but to file a defamation suit against, ironically, the ‘Anti-Defamation’ League,” he went on. “If they lose the defamation suit, we will insist that they drop the the ‘anti’ part of their name, since obviously…”

Musk has been liking posts that contained the hashtag #BanTheADL, but he said today that he is not antisemitic.

"To be super clear, I’m pro-free speech but against anti-Semitism of any kind.”

In another post, he explained that bots may have been trying to bring down X by posting anti-Semitic comments on X. For some reason he thinks that the ADL is behind that claiming “There is also no way to tell if the organisation complaining was somehow complicit in creating the very thing they complain about!”

So in other words the bots, the falling advertising, the general mess that X has become is not Musk's fault, it is all a Jewish conspiracy.
