The guys from managed to score a presentation of Acer's Hornet, based on Nvidia's Ion platform. Featuring an Intel Atom and probably soon VIA's Nano CPU, the new Acer Hornet is based on a rather standard nettop design.

This small nettop is designed so it can be either mounted on a wall or back of display or can be placed on a desk with a stand. It can support both single-core and dual-core Intel Atom processor and is paired up with Nvidia's MCP79-derived chipset with the Geforce 9400 IGP that will surely have no trouble playing HD 1080p video.

Acer decided to bundle this one with some sort of Wii-like motion game controller for games that can also be used as a pointing device and a media center remote control. We are sure that Acer will soon publish more details on this cute little thing, but until then, you can check out the presentation here.
