Teen used Facebook to blackmail people
Pretended to be a girl
A US teen pretended to be a girl to get guys to send him naked pictures which he then used to blackmail them for sexual acts.
Anthony Stancl, an 18-year-old high school student, tricked 31 male classmates into sending him naked photos of themselves. Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel said the way that Stancl manipulated people was really sinister.
Anthony Stancl, of New Berlin, west of Milwaukee, was charged on Wednesday with five counts of child enticement, two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child, two counts of third-degree sexual assault, possession of child pornography, repeated sexual assault of the same child and making a bomb threat. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and hopes to reach a plea agreement with the attorney. If he doesn't make an agreement, Stancl could face up to 300 years in jail.
Coppers questioned Stancl about a bomb threat he allegedly sent to teachers and wrote about on a school's bathroom wall. It resulted in the closing of New Berlin Eisenhower Middle and High School, which he attended.
However when coppers looked at Stancl they found that he was posing as a girl named Kayla or Emily. Boys reported that they were tricked into sending nude photos or videos of themselves, the complaint said. Then Kayla or Emily would tell them they would have to have sex with their male friend, Stancl, or they would post the pictures on the internet.
Seven boys have fessed up that they had sex with Stancl because of the blackmail threats. Prosecutors said the victims were as young as 15.
