While holiding The Tech Report since it was founded back in 1999, Scott has recently pushed both AMD and Nvidia to pay attention to GPU frame pacing. According to his post over at The Tech Report, he has been called by Raja Koduri to implement the frame-time-based testing methods for game performance at AMD's Radeon Technologies Group.

Raja Koduri is certainly doing a lot to pull AMD from the situation that it is currently in and while recent Crimson drivers might not be a direct product of the new Radeon Technologies Group, it was obvious that it got a whole lot more attention and it can be sensed that AMD is on the right path to overcome challenges that have been plaguing company for quite some time.

Scott Wasson will be stepping down as Editor-in-Chief at The Tech Report which will now be under leadership of Jeff Kampman.
