Logitech Sorts Out Our Multi-Device Lives

Introduces One BT Keyboard to Rule Them All

When you have a tablet, a phablet, a compute stick attached to your TV and one or two other computing devices lying around the house, things can get pretty messy pretty fast.

Logitech is now alleviating at least some of the pains with their new Bluetooth keyboard that seamlessly supports up to three devices. All you need to do to switch between them is push one of the three dedicated buttons.

The idea couldn't be simpler. Unfortunately, not very many gadget manufacturers are up to the task of making our lives easier applying some common sense to their product development.

That's why we have Logitech. The Swiss-American company has decades of experience in making high quality computer peripherals and it shows. Common sense and usability come naturally to them.

K380 Multi-Device Bluetooth keyboard is the latest example. A compact and cheerfully colored keyboard comes with a full set of multimedia keys and three extras: BT1, BT2 and BT3. As you probably guessed, you can pair three different devices to the keyboard and switch to using either of them by simply pushing the corresponding button.

We find ourselves constantly in situations of typing out Fudzilla articles on the desktop PC when an invitation to a poolside party arrives on Apple iMessage on the iPad. With the K380, we could reply to the invitation and then go back to the article without ever lifting our fingers from the same keyboard. Awesome.

In terms of specs, Logitech promises comfortable typing even on the compact keyboard due to the intelligently designed keys and a whopping 2 years of battery life from 2 AAA batteries. We remember with pain having to change batteries every few days on an Apple BT keyboard.

The best part: the keyboard costs only €44.99 in Europe.
