Anonymous takes on Westboro Baptist Church

Free speech is one thing but these guys are just nuts

Westboro Baptist Church, which has done more to further the cause of Christianity in the last decade than the Roman Catholic Church managed to do in its entire history, has upset the hacker outfit Anonymous.

For those who came in late, Westboro Baptist Church is a Christian church which is so full of hate and stupidity, they make Apple fanboys look intelligent. They claim that God hates homosexuals and plans to destroy America for not following the Westboro Baptist Church’s way of doing things. Anonymous has been after the Westboro Baptist Church for several months now and hacked their websites on several occasions. But recently it warned its members to leave the outfit alone. This was after the church created a fake letter in order to trick other hackers into attacking the website.

Anonymous thought this was a trick by the Church to harvest internet addresses and sue people. The Church claimed that its website was protected by God so an Anonymous spokesman called in and hacked the church’s website in real time on the air. But now Westboro Baptist Church has hit a new low by showing up in Newtown, Connecticut to hassle the families of victims who were gunned down by another nut. (He will go unnamed. Turning perpetrators of such heinous acts into celebrities is a big part of the problem. Ed)

Local cops have had to assign a policeman to each of the victims homes to stop the nutters banging on their doors to scream at them that their child’s death was caused because they have not followed the ways of Westboro Baptist Church. Now it appears that the conflict between Anonymous and the Westboro Baptist Church is building to a fever pitch. And members of the public are now rooting for Anonymous.
