They can't breed otherwise

A dating site has been set up so that Apple fanboys can breed and create little Applets.

One of the problem with buying Apple gear is that many of the opposite sex perceive you as a smug, cold play addicted git who thinks that shiny gadgets are more important than sex. Now there is a fear in the fanboy community that Darwin will kick in and fanboys will die out because they are not fit to breed.

To fix this problem a site called Called Cupidtino has been born. The idea is that Apple fanboys and Apple fangirls will meet and make beautiful iTunes together. So far 16,000 Apple fanboys and fangirls have signed up since the site launched in early June, sharing such intimate details as their earliest Apple product purchases and lists of favourite iPhone apps on their profile pages. Sounds like a match made in heaven.

Cupidtino is the brainchild of Mel Sampat, ironically a former Microsoft employee who came up with the idea during an argument with his girlfriend over whether he should use his iPad during dinner. Sampat told her that if they ever broke up he would date someone who likes Apple products. We are not sure if they did, but it sounds like they should have done.

We would have thought that a mating between two Apple fans would not last. We doubt that any couple could be that shallow and survive. Also that amount of toxic smugness in one room would be impossible to be with. Communciation is important in any relationship and if your idea of communication is parroting what ever Steve Jobs says you are going to be in trouble as a couple.
