Phison Max14um controller peaking at 14GB/s

Sabrent has announced its latest flagship M.2 NVMe SSD, the Rocket 5. Pairing up the latest Phison with Micron 3D TLC NAND, DRAM cache, the Rocket 5 will peak at 14GB/s and come in capacities of up to 4TB.

Up to 14.6GB and 12.7 GB/s sequential transfer speeds

MSI has unveiled its latest addition to the SPATIUM SSD lineup, the flagship SPATIUM M580 FROZR. Equipped with a rather large passive heatsink and coming in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, the SPATIUM M580 FROZR has peak sequential read and write speeds of up to 14.6GB/s and 12.7GB/s, respectively.

With or without heatspreader, and special versions for PS5

Corsair has released its latest MP600 ELITE SSD series that will be available in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, as well as come in three different versions, with and without a heatspreader, and a special version for Playstation 5 console. The Corsair MP600 ELITE is pretty special as it comes with a new Phison E27T controller.

Around 12GB/s sequential read and write speed

Gigabyte has unveiled a direct successor of its Aorus Gen5 10000 SSD, the Aours Gen5 12000 SSD, which peaks at up to 12,400 MB/s read and up to 11.8GB/s of sequential write performance.

Reaching 12,422/11,858 MB/s of sequential performance

Crucial's PCIe Gen5 SSD based on a Phison E26 controller has been spotted online, and it achieves some impressive sequential performance.

Hitting well over 12,000MB/s

While you can already buy PCIe Gen5 SSDs that can hit 10,000MB/s, it appears that Sabrent is going to push it a bit further, as it is currently working with Phison in order to bring the new Rocket X5 Gen5 SSD that will go well over 12,000MB/s, and possibly as high as 14,000MB/s. 

Hits 12.5GB/s read and 10GB/s write on AMD X670 platform

Phison's upcoming E26 PCIe Gen5 SSD controller has been spotted running on the AMD X670 platform and reaching impressive 12.5GB/s read and 10GB/s write speeds.

Up to 7,400/6,800 MB/s of sequential performance

Silicon Motion announced three new PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD controllers, including the high-end 12nm SM2264 controller, capable of hitting 7.400MB/s and 6.800MB/s sequential read and write performance.

Coming in M.2 form-factor

PNY has unveiled its new consumer-oriented CS2030 series of NVMe SSDs, coming in capacities of up to 480GB and sequential performance of up to 2750MB/s.
