AOC has announced two new 27-inch QHD gaming monitors that will be a part of its G2 lineup, the Q27G2U and the curved CQ27G2U.

Both monitors share pretty much the same specifications, including 2560x1440 resolution on a 27-inc 144Hz IPS panel. The rest of the specifications include 250cd/m2 of brightness, high 3000:1 contrast ratio, 1ms response time, as well as 90-percent AdobeRGB and 120-percent sRGB color gamut.

Both monitors also support AMD's FreeSync with 48-144Hz range, come with G2 series stand with 130mm height and tilt adjustments, as well as a built-in USB 3.0 hub with four ports.

The only difference between the monitors is the fact that the CQ27G2U comes with a 1500R curvature.

The Q27G2U is expected to be available in January with a suggested price set at £279, while the curved CQ27G2U will be available in February with a retail price of £289. So far, we did not get official pricing for the rest of Europe or the US, but we expect them to be priced at around €300.
