Shuttle launches new XPC barebone for 8th gen Intel CPUs

XPC Barebone for Intel Coffee Lake CPUs

Shuttle is well-known for its high-quality barebone systems and with the XPC being one of the best in its lineup, it comes as no surprise it has been updated with support for Intel's 8th generation Coffee Lake CPUs.

According to the announcement, the Shuttle SH370R6, which is  designed for home, office and workstation use, and obviously based on Intel H370 chipset, will have support for Intel's 8000 series socket LGA1151v2 CPUs with a TDP of up to 95W, up to 64GB of DDR4-2400/2666 memory in four slots, dual-slot graphics cards and uses Shuttle's recognizable I.C.E. (Integrated Cooling Engine) heatpipe CPU cooler with 92mm fan.

The rest of the specifications include single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, single M.2-2280M SSD and M.2-2230E (for WiFi card) slots, Intel Optane support, triple-display support, 300W 80 PLUS Bronze PSU (optional 500W 80 PLUS Silver PSU), optional 802.11ac WiFi + Bluetooth module, four SATA 6Gbps ports, HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.2 ports, four USB 3.1 Gen2, four USB 3.1 Gen1 and four USB 2.0 ports, Intel Gigabit Ethernet Realtek ALC662 5.1 channel audio.

According to details provided by Shuttle Europe, the recommended retail price for the XPC Barebone SH370R6 is EUR 261.00 (ex VAT).  and should be already available.
