Based on a complete all-in-one design, the EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock cools both the CPU as well as Intel X99 Express PCH and VRM/MOSFET part of the motherboard. Designed for the high-end X99 Express chipset based Asus Rampage V Extreme motherboard, the new EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock uses EK-Supremacy cooling engine in order to ensure the best possible cooling for the Intel Haswell-E Core i7 LGA 2011-3 CPU and is also based on a very high flow design, which allows it to be used with weaker pumps as well.

According to Niko Tivadar, Monoblock main designer and Chief Technology Officer at EKWB, the EK Monoblock series water blocks feature true monolith design which eases the installation and greatly improves the reliability of the unit.

Just like other high-end CPU water blocks from EKWB, the new EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock is also bundled with Gelid's GC-Extreme thermal grease and will be available in a couple of visually different version, Nickel, Acetal+Nickel, Nickel (original CSQ) and Acetal+Nickel (Original CSQ).

All four will be available for purchase via EK Webshop or its Partner Reseller Network with a price ranging from €161,95 for the Nickel version, up to €166,95 for the Nickel (Original CSQ) version.
