Sign of things to come

AMD officially launched its lineup of AMD FX-series CPUs back in October, while seven new SKUs, including four FX-4000 series, two FX-8000 and one FX-6000 series CPU, were expected to show up in Q1 or Q2. Unfortunately, those CPUs have never showed up their face in retail/e-tail, at least not until now, as CPU-World.com managed to find the FX-4130 on pre-order in the USA.

As noted, the FX-4120, FX-4130, FX-4150 and FX-4200, as well as the FX-8140, FX-8170 and FX-6130, were previously scheduled to show up in Q1 and Q2 this year and now it looks like that they are finally going to appear in retail/e-tail, at least judging by the early listing of the FX-4130.

In case you missed it, the FX-4130 is a quad-core CPU clocked at 3.8GHz and a 125W TDP. According to earlier details, FX-4130 features AMD's Turbo Core with a 3.9GHz Turbo clock and should have an unlocked multiplier, same as all FX-series CPUs.

The pre-order price over at the ShopBLT online store stands at US $120.42.
