According to the same slide that detailed the Sandy Bridge-E launch, it looks like that Intel is aiming to launch its next-gen socket LGA1155 22nm Ivy Bridge CPUs in March-April 2012 rather than early 2012 as it was rumoured earlier.

The 22nm Ivy Bridge will be a part of "premium performance" and "mainstream performance" part of the market and should replace current Sandy Bridge LGA1155 Core i7 and Core i5 CPUs. According to rumours, current LGA1155 motherboards will have no problem coping with the new Ivy Bridge, although there will probably be a need for some sort of BIOS update, but currently there are no details regarding it.

Unfortunately, when it comes to Ivy Bridge, there is no details in the leaked slides, but we guess that those will leak out pretty soon as we draw closer to the end of the year.
