AMD has started this year with Phenom II X4 940, DDR2 and 3.0GHz, followed up with the Phenom II X4 945, the one that could support DDR3 memory and recently decided to launch Phenom II X4 955 clocked at 3.2GHz. The first and the last ones ended up as Black edition CPUs.

The latest addition is Phenom II X4 965 clocked at 3.4GHz and if Intel doesnt surprises us, this might be the fastest clocked quad core so far. Its product code is HDZ965FBGIBOX and it shows up at plenty of spaces including here and it even got a price.

You can preorder one here and this was the cheapest one, listed at £177.30 . This sum translates to some €205 or about $330 which also makes it incredibly affordable. Phenom II X4 should also be a black edition and should fit to 125W TDP.
