More details in July

Maingear CEO and founder, Wallace Santos, has just posted more details about the AMD's Phenom II 42 TWKR BE CPU. According to our info, this cherry picked CPU will not hit retail but will be used a lot on overclocking events and similar show off events.

Wallace Santos has posted a new picture, showing AMD's Phenom II 42 TWKR BE CPU booted on ASUS' Crosshair III Formula motherboard and paired up with 4GB of Kingston KHX-12800D3K2/4G. The CPU was cooled by CoolIT Domino ALC. Wallace notes on his blog that this one really goes beyond the limits of the 955 BE CPU.

According to the post, AMD has apparently talked to him about the previous teaser, and the rest of the info, like the maximum overclock, will have to wait for July, as that is when AMD will give Maingear the green light to launch.

Maingear is even preparing a sweet giveaway including one of these TWKR CPUs, and you should really keep an eye on it.
