A Vivo Apex prototype was showed at the Mobile World Congress and this was the first bezel less phone. The catch to a 98 percent screen to body ratio was a pop up camera. We strongly believe that many phones in 2019 will embrace this feature.

Not that long ago, China-based phonemanufacturers were considered being copycats of the well-established phone companies, mainly from California. A lot of things have changed over the last few years.

There is absolutely no doubt that customers want phones with smaller bezels and Ulephone is about to announce a phone with very little bezel at all and a small camera notch. This may well be the first phone to launch with Helio P70 SoC.

The upcoming One Plus 5T phone is based on the Snapdragon 835 and will be the quickest Snapdragon to ship this year.
With high-end Helio X20 SoC inside
The Elephone S7 launched roughly a year ago, and it packed a MediaTek Helio X20 MTK6797 SoC, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. The successor of this phone, called the Elephone S8, comes with a three-side bezel-less screen and an updated specification.
Will be showcased next week
Today is obviously the bezel-less smartphone day as there are three companies who recently talked about their bezel-less plans. The Doogee MIX is yet another smartphone and it promises to come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen.
It looks like that the main theme from China-based manufacturers for 2017 are the bezel-less phones. The new player called Maze is planning a phone with a tiny bezel. The phone resembles the now famous Xiaomi Mi Mix and there is no fix launch date for this product.
First benchmarks out
Xiaomi is working on a successor to its highly successful Xiaomi Mi Mix and it looks like that the new phone will have the Snapdragon 835 under the bonnet.
Since the day Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix phone with 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, people have wanted to get their hands on it. Now, it looks like Meizu might launch a phone with a front almost completely made of display or close to 100 percent screen-to-body ratio.
