Streaming on October 19
Google has officially set the date for its Pixel Fall Launch event which will stream live on October 19th. The company is expected to officially announce the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro smartphones.
In a break from the past, Google rolled out Android 12 to AOSP but did not launch any devices, including any Pixel phones to showcase the new OS.
The 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor
It appears that Google won't be just tapping Samsung for Tensor SoC on its upcoming Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones but also for the main camera sensor, as it has been pretty much confirmed that these will use Samsung's 50-megapixel GN1 sensor.

Google has reportedly lots three of its key hardware engineers that gave the iPhone A series chip its edge. Manu Gulati, John Bruno and Vinod Chamarty waved Google goodbye, the departure caused by the lack of Google’s ambition to build a serious mobile SoC platform.
