Lenovo K900 coming in April

by on13 March 2013

About $500 in Asia

Lenovo’s new Intel powered smartphone could be just weeks away. We had a chance to see the K900 in action at Cebit and we must say we were impressed.

Now though reports are emerging that the K900 could go on sale on April 17. However, that is the availability date for Japan and we still don’t know when it will show up elsewhere. Lenovo is focusing its efforts on the Asian market, so there is a good chance that we won’t see the K900 in some regions.

However, this might be the first Intel phone people would actually like to see on the shelves. It features a dual-core Atom Z2580 processor clocked at 2GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and a Sony Exmor 13-megapixel camera. It looks rather nice, too.

Now we are hearing that the K900 should end up with a $490 price tag in China, which doesn’t sound cheap, but then again it is a flagship smartphone and the price seems fair.
