Something is afoot for AT&T in June

As with the time leading up to the last iPhone launch, AT&T has taken the unique step of blocking vacations for their corporate store wireless employees during the June time period.

It could be that Apple is on track to launch a little earlier than July this year, but we do know from the past that the only time that AT&T has blocked out time and prevented corporate store wireless employees from taking vacations is when Apple has a major launch scheduled, and they need all hands on deck to make sure that they have enough people to cover the stores and handle the demand. Previously, the company has done this for iPhone.

The AT&T employees that we spoke with claimed ignorance on what the mother ship might have planned, but they did confirm that they are currently unable to schedule vacation in June. Seems like a safe bet that we are going to see the iPhone launch in June.
