Dominator GT goes dual channel

Corsair has showed that its new Dominator GT lineup is not necessarily limited to Intel by announcing its new dual channel Dominator GT DDR3 kit for AMD AM3 Phenom II processors. The new memory kit has the same recognizable black and red color scheme and feature support for AMD's Black Edition Memory Profiles.

The 4GB Dominator GT kit works at 1600MHz and features pretty tight 6-6-6-18 latencies, 1T command rate. Same as the triple channel kit for Intel's Core i7 platform, this one also works at 1.65V voltage. The support for AMD's Black Edition Memory Profiles, also known as B.E.M.P., is used for automatic aggressive latency settings via AMD Overdrive software utility.

As it was the case with the entire Dominator GT lineup, this one is also backed by a lifetime warranty and can only be purchased in the Corsair online store. The new Dominator GT 4GB kit is priced at US $349.99 but it is currently not available.
