Before AMD is going to launch its highly anticipated RV770XT and PRO cards branded as Radeon HD 4870 and Radeon HD4850 it decided to launch a website.

The website is called unleashonetera, which translates to Unleash One Tera (TeraFlop), and this is the power of the weaker RV770PRO chip. The faster one RV770XT, will be able to do 1.2 TeraFlop, and as the Website claims both are DirectX 10.1, 55nm and GDDR5.

The sad thing is that Nvidia doesn’t have any of these three technologies in any of its superior GPUs. And if you pay attention, ATI is using the same logo that we have been using in our articles for a while.

Priced for gamers sounds like affordable to use, and designed by gamers is a pure market scheme, as this chip is designed to use as few transistors as possible, runs fastest and may be the cheapest thing around. The name of the game is profit.

The Website is here.
