Goes from blue to orange sticker

EVGA has launched its version of the GeForce 8800GS clocked at 550MHz for the core with the 384MB of GDDR3 memory at 1.6GHz.

Hardly anything has changed from the reference cards we saw earlier, except from the sticker color. EVGA has decided that blue will be reserved for 8800GT and has placed a new, orange sticker on this one.

As mentioned, the cards core works at 550MHz and it comes with 384MB of GDDR3 memory with a 192-bit memory interface. The EVGA 8800GS has 96 Stream processors clocked at 1,375MHz and has support for DirectX 10, Shader model 4.0 and PCI-Express 2.0.

Geizhals.at has this card listed and the lowest price is €159.94, but the card is still not available. You can find it here.
