Newegg.com jumps the gun
As you already know, the upcoming HD 6790 is scheduled for April 5th, or simply tomorrow, but Newegg.com jumped the gun with Powercolor's own HD 6790. Listed with a price of US $149.99, the Powercolor's card appears to be a bit different than the other HD 6790 cards that we have seen so far.

The Powercolor HD 6790 card appears to be based on the HD 6850 PCB rather than the HD 6870 one, so you are looking at a card that features a dual slot cooler with a single center placed fan. It comes packed with 800 Stream processors, 40 Texture Units, works at reference 840MHz for the GPU and features 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4200MHz and paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. The card will need a single 6-pin power connector, which is also contrary to the other card that we had a chance to see, that actually need two 6-pin PCIe power connectors. Of course, this might also mean that Powercolor might have a few more versions up its sleeve that will have a slightly higher clocks and much more overclocking potential.

The price of US $149.99 pretty much is what you would expect, btu we'll hold on until tomorrow to see all the official results and end prices. You can find it listed here.
