We just wanted to share with you that in 2007 you won’t see any 45nm chips. This means that R700 and Nvidia’s GT200 are 55 nanometer or bigger, as 45nm is not going to be available at TSMC for the high-end products.

Still, it will be a fun year, as R700 versus GT200 will be a big fight. We don’t even have a clue who might win this one, but obviously ATI believes that it can beat Nvidia, while Nvidia believes that it will remain the king of the high-end.

Give it a quarter or three and the time will answer this riddle.
