Retailers/e-tailers dictate the price

Geforce GTX 470 is doing almost the same as the GTX 480, and although it is listed the card is still not available, at least not until the week of April 12th. The price tag is still dictated by retail/e-tail shops, and the GTX 470 can be found for pre-order from €319.99 all the way to €359.

In case you have forgotten, the GTX 470 has 448 CUDA cores and works at 607MHz for the GPU, 1215MHz for shaders and 838MHz (3348MHz effective) for 1280MB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 320-bit memory interface.

The retail/e-tail shops are simply copying the USA prices, but there is still time till' the GTX 470 is actually available. The UK retail/e-tail shops are listing some cards as well, and Scan.co.uk has Gainward's GTX 470 listed at €332.

Newegg.com has listed a bunch of cards and all have the same US $349.99 price tag, except for EVGA's overclocked and water-cooled cards.

You can find the full listing here.
