NVISION isn't coming back

Just a day
before the launch of GF100 Fermi-based cards, Nvidia has announced its GPU Technology Conference 2010 that will take place at the San Jose Convention Center from September 20th to 23rd. Since Nvidia is still focusing on GTC, hopes for NVISION's comeback are pretty much gone.

Following the success of last year's conference, during which Jensen showed a mock-up of the Fermi, the new GTC 2010 will feature technical sessions, interactive tutorials, technology previews and industry and academic presentations.

The event is, of course, focusing on solely on the GPU, and will be "separated" in three summits including the Emerging companies, GPU developers and Nvidia research summits.

Last year GTC had some very interesting speakers and topics, so we are pretty sure that this one can only be better. Only 177 days till this one kicks off.

You can find the rest of the information here.
