We had a chance to talk to member of upper management at XFX, and we can confirm that the company will continue doing Nvidia based cards. The company is committed to bring more XXX or Black Edition cards, as it wants to offer more than just reference GTX 260, 285 or GTX 295 cards.

You can expect some of these new overclocked cards shortly, and we learned that XFX going ATI was simply because the customers wanted it to, and since XFX believes it can make a difference in this market.

BFG, EVGA and Zotac will stay as the only few to exclusively support only Nvidia where one will get more attention than the others. Nvidia is still doing business with XFX and despite some broken hearts at Nvidia, it's business is as usual.
