High hopes for the new game

EA and Dice
are about to release a game called Mirror's Edge, and from what Nvidia is telling the world, this should be the game that will make a huge difference with PhysX on your GPU.

The game should provide you with a dramatic physics experience and some new features, including glass, which will be able to hurt your opponents after you shatter it. This was described to us as the glass scene in Die Hard 1, and if you've seen it, you would know what we are talking about.

Apart from shooting glass we've seen some screenshots with realistic steam and cloth, all powered by PhysX, and we are sure that it will be rather interesting to compare this on ATI and Nvidia cards, as ATI cannot accelerate PhysX on its GPUs.

We will try to get some decent screenshots and Nvidia promised some videos, so stay tuned.
