GTA 5 for PC delayed after all

by on14 January 2015

Will be released on March 24th now

The continued rumors that we have been hearing the last couple of weeks about Grand Theft Auto 5 having its PC release delayed, has turned out to be true as confirmed by Rockstar.

Rockstar says now that GTA 5 for PC will be release March 24, 2015. We had heard last week that the PC version was still “go” for a January 27th release.

According to Rockstar the PC version of GTA 5 needed more weeks of testing and polish to make the PC release as good as it can be. Rockstar noted that they don’t take moving a release date lightly and it is a choice they only make when they know it is in the best interest of the game and our their fans.

In other GTA 5 news, Rockstar also confirmed that the PC version of GTA 5 will support 30 player multiplayer and will include Online Heists. As for Online Heists for the console versions of the game, it is coming and will launch in the coming weeks ahead of the release of the PC version of GTA 5.

Rockstar also has confirmed that the PC version runs at 1080p and up to 60 fps with 4K resolution and support for a triple monitor configuration. It will also support NVIDIA’s 3D Vision for triple monitor setups. Of course you have to have the right hardware in your PC to make these configurations work.
