30 million copies of Minecraft: Pocket Edition sold

Name changes to go live on February 4th

Another new impressive milestone has been reached for Minecraft. The Minecaft: Pocket Edition has sold over 30 million copies across the three mobile platforms on which it has been released. That’s right – the iOS, Android, and Windows Phone versions of Minecraft: Pocket Edition have been able to rack up a combined 30 million in sales.

Majang has also confirmed that Minecraft name changes are coming starting on February 4th and they will not cost money. Simply signing into your Minecraft account and clicking “change” next to your Minecraft name is all you have to do.

Keep in mind that your old name will be freed for other to use in 37 days after you change it, so you might want to think about this first. Also users will be limited to one name change every 30 days.
