Scheduled to launch on all consoles and the PC on November 18th, Ubisoft has now released the official minimum and optimal system requirements for the PC version of Far Cry 4. In addition to the official system requirements, both Ubisoft and Nvidia have released a new trailer showing some of the incorporated Nvidia GameWorks technologies that will be featured in the new Far Cry.
As you already know, Nvidia has teamed up with Ubisoft for its new Pick Your Path game bundle promotion and since Far Cry 4 is one of the games on the list, it is no wonder that we now have a chance to check out the new trailer which shows some of the incorporated Nvidia GameWorks technologies that will add exclusive visual enhancements to the PC version of the Far Cry 4, when running on Nvidia Geforce graphics cards of course.
In addition to the new trailer, Ubisoft has also announced official minimum and optimal system requirements for the PC version of Far Cry 4. The game will need 30GB of HDD space and will only work on a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 OS. The minimum system requirements list include Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.6GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2GHz, 4GB of RAM and Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5850 (1GB) graphics card.
The optimal system requirements published by Ubisoft are a bit on the high side and include Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz or better, 8GB or more of RAM, Nvidia Geforce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better graphics card.
Ubisoft's Far Cry 4 will launch on November 18th on Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and PC.
