Sony has confirmed via its Twitter feed that it has started rolling out the new 2.01 version of its system software which promises to fix the issues that were reported related to issues with the Rest Mode of the PlayStation 4.

Sony said in their Tweet, “PS4 software update 2.01 is rolling out today & will address issues some users have when powering on the system from Rest Mode”.

You can of course get the software from the system software update option in the PlayStation 4 settings page.

Early reports seem to indicate that it does apparently fix the issue.
