Vigil may work on something else next

Jason Rubin, who as we told you recently has taken over the reins at THQ, continues to look at and evaluate the current products that its studios have in development as well as what these studios might be working on in the future.

Apparently, Rubin might have plans for Vigil other than working on Darksiders III. While Rubin admitted that Darksiders II was very interesting, he went on to suggest that the team might make other very interesting games. Of course, that alone does not mean the end of the Darksiders franchise, but it is possible that Vigil might not figure into Darksiders III; but nothing is decided yet.

THQ is banking heavily on Darksiders II to deliver and sell well. The game is in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC platforms, which will be released on August 14th. A Wii U version is in development to be released at a later date.
