Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC version of Ghost Recon Future Solider will be coming to the PC as a digital download on June 15th.
That’s not all: when it arrives on the PC, players are in for a special treat. The PC version will feature enhanced visuals over the console releases, thanks to its DirectX 11 renderer with new hi-quality assets and post-processing effects.
In addition, the PC version will offer multi-monitor support and TriDef stereoscopic support. If that isn’t enough, the enhanced DirectX 11 renderer will also include support for Tessellation that is used for soft 3D models and computer-based shaders for realistic lighting, global illumination, and volumetric fog.
The PC version will also up its game by including advanced party functionality with a flexible invitation system with text party chat. It will also support the Uplay friends system. All of these features can be accessed through an online widget at any time within the game itself.
Ghost Recon Future Soldier will require a broadband connection for the one-time product registration using the player’s Ubisoft Uplay account. After that, no permanent Internet connection is required for offline play, but, naturally, it will still be required for online play.
While the PC version will arrive on June 15th, the console version will drop for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe.
