It seems that Halo: Reach’s launch date fast approaching wasn’t fast enough for some, as a hacker group claims to have obtained the game from Microsoft’s website.

The game was there for reviewers and such, but it appears that hackers found a way to get it. Bungie's forum moderators warn of disclosing information on the game as such actions will be considered leaks and dealth with accordingly.

The company spokesperson's promises to aggressively investigate the matter really sound nice on paper, but it appears it wasn't aggressive enough as the game is allegedly already available on file sharing sites.

Users who plan to purchase the game are warned for spoilers and are advised to stay off all internet gaming forums.
