Version 3.17, fixes, modifications and patches

Yesterday, Firaxis Games launched a new patch for Beyond The Sword, the second expansion to Civilization IV. Version 3.17 brings fixes of some bugs, as well as modification of some in-game units.

This patch also fixes some bugs that caused the game to crash quite often. This crashing, that usually occurred in more advanced stages of the game, ticked of many a player, to the point where they’d have to buy a new keyboard or mouse due to physical outbursts of discontent. Of course, that heavily depended on the time spent on the particular game (and I’m talking from personal experience).

Civilization is a turn-based strategy game where you’re leading and building up your civilization way back from nomadic times, all the way up to nukes and spaceships. If you’ve never tried this game, we sincerely recommend you try it out.
You can find the demo here.

You can download the patch here, and in the game itself. You can find the full list of fixes here.
