Looking good for now

Although there has been some talks and rumours regarding it, Asus' P8P67 WS (workstation) motherboard has finally been pixellized. The new WS series motherboard is based on Intel's P67 chipset and will support Intel's upcoming LGA1155 Sandy Bridge CPUs.

As it can be seen from the picture posted by Lab501.ro site, the new P8P67 motherboard is packed with features and includes a 16+2-phase digital VRM (with Asus' EPU), four DDR3 DIMM slots for dual-channel DDR3-2200 memory support, four PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots with support for triple-SLI and 4-way CrossfireX thanks to Nvidia's NF200 bridge chip and three PCI-Express x1 slots.

The rest of the features include four SATA 6Gbps and four SATA 3Gbps ports, two Intel Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports and bunch of USB 2.0 ports, integrated 7.1-channel audio, and comes with included G.P Diagnostic card, something that we have yet to see.

Unfortunately the info doesn't shed any light regarding the price of the new WS motherboard but it should be available in January.
