Lenovo has launched a couple of new Yoga tablets and one of them has a unique feature in the form of an integrated LED projector.
The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro has a projector in its oversized hinge and Lenovo says it can display a 50-inch image. It can be used as a portable home theatre and it has JBL speakers to fill the room. Even if you don't want to use the projector, the tablet sports a 13.3-inch 2560x1440 IPS display.
It is powered by an Intel Bay Trail processor and a 9600mAh battery. Lenovo promises up to 15 hours of battery lie, which is not bad considering the spec.
There are smaller versions, too. The Yoga Tablet 2 comes in 10-inch and 8-inch flavours. Both are based on Intel Atom processors and they sport high resolution screens, 1920x1200 in both sizes. All three tablets will ship with Android 4.4 and they appear to use the same cameras, 8 megapixels at the back and 1.6 megapixels at the front.
The projector packing Pro version is priced at $499, while the 10-inch and 8-inch versions should sell for $299 and $249 respectively.
The 10-inch and 8-inch models will also be available with Windows, with the 10-incher starting at $399. While it is a bit pricier than the Android version, the 10-inch Windows tablet ships with a Bluetooth keyboard, which is an option for the Android version.
The price for the 8-inch Windows model has not been revealed yet. You can check out the details on Lenovo's Yoga landing page.
