Nokia is working on a range of tablets and hybrid devices that should appear by the end of the year.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Nokia chairman Jorma Ollila said that tablets are an important market segment and that Nokia is looking into them. He said “there will be” different hybrids and new smartphone phone factors in the future, but nothing more specific than that.

Rumours of a Nokia Windows tablet have been churned out by the rumour mill on a regular basis for months now. There is talk of a 10-incher powered by a dual-core Qualcomm chip, but we are still months away from launch and, to be honest, nobody has a clue at this point.
