MSI officially launches Wind U180 netbook
10.1-incher with Cedar Trail
Still staying true to its Wind netbook line, MSI has now officially launced the newest Wind U180, a 10.1-inch netbook powered by Intel's Cedar Trail platform.
The new Wind U180 is pretty much what you would expect from a small and light netbook and not much has changed since the original and over three year old Wind U100. The new Wind U180 features 10.1-inch LED backlit 1024x600 screen, packs Intel's Atom N2800 or N2600 dual-core CPU paired up with Intel's NM10 chipset with GMA 3650 graphics, up to 2GB of DDR3 800/1066MHz memory in one DIMM slot and either 250 or 320GB of HDD storage.
The rest of the specs include two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, 802.11bgn WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0, 0.3MP webcam, and either 3 or 6-cell battery. Accordin to MSI, the 6-cell battery is enough for up to 8 hours of work time.
As always, MSI didn't shed any light regarding the price or the availability date.
