Aluminum brush and more details

It is
said that the Transformer 2 should launch on November 9th and a Chinese website managed to take a few pictures of Transformer Prime (Transformer 2). Judging frow what we've seen, we can say that the new Tegra 3 powered tablet looks quite nice.

It has a keyboard dock, something that made it very popular, and the dock itself has a few ports and an extra battery. Of course, the tablet comes with a camera as well. Since we didn’t hold it, we cannot tell if the tablet features an aluminium finish, but from what we can see, the Transformer 2 looks much like iMac notebooks we've seen so many times.

The tablet also has microSD, micro HDMI, as well as an audio jack, and we can almost bet that the keyboard dock has some extra USB slots. This is the first Tegra 3 tablet to launch and we are sure it's not the last. At least the graphics part should be much better than any tablet shipping today, including the iPad 2.  Furthermore, don’t forget that Nvidia promises much better battery life with this new tablet, due to its five-core design.

We expect review samples to come from Asus very soon, as reviewers usually need one to two weeks to properly test and review the device. Asus already said that the Transformer 2 is thinner than iPad 2 with its sleek 8.3 millimeter unibody, and you can see these few official details here.

You can see some more pictures here.
