Hires former Acer CEO
According to Digitimes, Lenovo has plans to ship 1.5-2 million tablets in 2011. The figure includes around 400K-500K ThinkPad models and 1-1.5 million IdeaPad K1, A1 and other consumer models.

In related news, former Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci joined Lenovo as an Italy-based consultant. His job focus on strengthening Lenovo’s presence and marketing in Europe.
