Quanta and Compal make tablets with fans

Old tech is the best
Quanta Computer and Compal Electronics are building tablet PCs that will include thermal modules or PC fans.

Digitimes claims that the pair have decided that there is a market for tablets that whir and vibrate in your groin.  After all it is vital that your tablet switches off because you block the air hole. They think that tablets with either thermal modules or fans will account for 20-30 per cent each of all tablet PCs.

However they admit it will be a while before the novelty of such old style technology will be in the shops. One of the problems is that so far there are not many makers of microfans who can roll out the gear in enough volume.  It is also not clear what type of chips they will need to be cooling.
